Rensselaer Honda of Troy to Host Charity Golf Event to Benefit the American Cancer Society
On June 23, Rensselaer Honda of Troy will be hosting their nineteenth Annual Memorial Charity Golf Outing to benefit the American Cancer Society while honoring their employee Tom Gorman who passed away from pancreatic cancer.
"Tom worked at Rensselaer Honda for 10 years as a leading Sales Professional and was considered family to all who met him," the company said in a statement. "In June of 2002, Tom was diagnosed with this terminal cancer and passed away on September 12, 2002, leaving behind a wife and two sons. Our charity golf tournament is held in Tom’s honor in the hope that our donation will help millions of other people fighting all types of cancer."

All of the proceeds will be going to the American Cancer Society. The charity event will take place at the Fairways of Halfmoon, 17 Johnson Road in Mechanicville.
