Get Involved with I Love My Park Day

This year, NY Parks & Trails will celebrate the 11th Annual 'I Love My Park Day' on Saturday, May 7. Every year thousands of New Yorkers come together to organize and participate in cleanups and beautification events at New York State parks, historic sites, and public lands.

Whether you are passionate about cleaning up beaches, parks, planting gardens, or restoring trails...this is a great opportunity for the environmentalist looking for a way to give back.

For anyone interested in organizing a local project for I Love My Park Day 2022, NY Parks & Trails will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, April 14, at noon. However, there is a recording of the previous workshop for those who want to get the ball rolling.

For those who would only like to participate as a volunteer, registration will open on the department’s website in early April.
