9th Annual 5K Steps2Cure NF Walk/Run

Entry: Ages 5 & Under: Free

Ages 6 – 17: $15 on-line; $20 in-person registration May 15th

Ages 18 & Over: $20 on-line; $25 in-person registration May 15th

Each registrant will receive a Steps2Cure NF T-shirt – must be registered by April 15th to be guaranteed a shirt. Join by yourself or form a team! Prizes for first 3 male and first 3 female runners to finish!

What is NF?

Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a disorder of the nervous system that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere on the body at any time. NF affects all races, all ethnic groups and both sexes equally. It is always genetic, whether it is a spontaneous event or passed down from a parent. NF affects more people than Cystic Fibrosis and Muscular Dystrophy combined, and may be associated with deafness, vision impairment, epilepsy, learning disabilities, bone abnormalities, and cancer. Many people have not heard of Neurofibromatosis. You can help “Spread the word about NF”!

Please come out and help us keep the hope alive for the 1.5 million people faced with NF.

Our mission is to find a treatment and cure for neurofibromatosis by promoting scientific research, creating awareness, and supporting those who are affected by NF.
