The City of Albany presents its 20th Annual Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival, on Saturday, September 10th. This all-day concert features world-class music, vendors, great food & beverages. The Jazz Festival is an event for all ages, and admission is still free!

The event kicks off at 12 p.m. with the presentation of the Henry Johnson Award. Five incredible live acts will take the stage throughout the day and the event will conclude at 8 p.m. with a fantastic fireworks display!

In the event of inclement weather, the festival will move to the Corning Preserve Boat Launch at Water & Colonie Streets.

The musical lineup for the 20th Annual City of Albany Jazz Festival will feature:

  • Teresa Broadwell Quartet: 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Charged Particles: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Black Tie Brass: 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Samara Joy: 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • The Soul Rebels: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Special ground rules in effect: No glass containers of any kind, recording of performances, animals or pets (excluding ADA-defined service animals). All City of Albany parks are now tobacco-free. Security personnel reserve the right to inspect any bag, container or package and confiscate any prohibited or illegal items. Any type of recording of the performance or presentation is prohibited without prior written consent. All attendees should be prepared to present age identification at any time if they intend to consume alcohol. Ground rules are subject to change without notice; exceptions made for medical or child care reasons may be addressed individually.
